Fire Alarm Systems Designer

Job Responsibilities:

Read and interpret contract drawings and documents
Prepare fire alarm shop drawings for submission, in accordance with required codes, standards, and contract documents
Create fire alarm submissions with required calculations and materials lists
Communicate deficiencies and discrepancies in contract documents, prepare a request for information (RFI)

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Detail oriented
Ability to meet deadlines
Willing to learn code requirements
2D or 3D design experience preferred but not required
